Compliance & conduct standards

We collect commercial debts only, and we hold ourselves to standards modeled on consumer-protection rules even where the law does not require them: truthful statements, reasonable contact, prompt dispute handling and secure handling of funds and data.

How we communicate

  • We state only facts we can document, and describe next steps only when they are real and authorized by our client.
  • We never use threats, abusive language, or communications designed to look like court documents.
  • We contact only the debtor's authorized representatives and never discuss a debt with its customers or suppliers.
  • We call during reasonable business hours in the debtor's time zone and respect written requests to stop calling.
  • Calls may be recorded, and we say so at the start of every call.

Individuals and sole proprietors

When an account involves an individual, such as a sole proprietor or a personal guarantor, we apply additional procedures required by federal and state law for debts owed by natural persons.

Disputes

Any debtor can raise a dispute at our dispute page. We review it with our client and respond.

Client funds

We never hold client money. Debtors pay the creditor's own bank account directly. Every notice states the creditor as the only beneficiary and tells debtors to verify any change of payment details with the creditor, protecting both sides from payment-redirection fraud.

Bankruptcy

We check federal bankruptcy records before escalation and stop collection immediately when a debtor is protected by the automatic stay.
